I ordered dried flowers online and attached them to battery-powered candles using Aleene’s Decoupage. This decoupage can be used to adhere the flowers to the candle and seal the flowers on the candle for a smooth finish – you don’t need another adhesive for this DIY. I have Aleene’s Premium Decoupage on hand all of the time. It is a staple in my craft room, and you can order your own too!

Read MoreA green snack board 💚💚💚 no food coloring necessary. My kids are “starving” at any given point in the day, and snack boards are my favorite way to provide them with various snack options. I always throw in healthy food, and they seem to enjoy it more when it’s displayed in a really fun way.
The key to a pretty board is placement. I always add a variety of flavors and textures. To make this St. Patrick’s friendly, I obviously, went with a green theme. The monochromatic board turned out to be really pretty. Remember, snack board are not just of kids. If you are getting a group together for the holiday, this is a crowd-pleaser, no matter the age group!
I wanted to create a shake that had those classic flavors but without food coloring. If you like shamrock shakes, then you NEED to try this homemade version. I added fresh mint for flavor and a little spinach for color… and it’s perfection!!!

I know snack boards can look like a lot of work, but the truth is, I just cut up some fruit and veggies, and lined them up in rainbow colors, literally, that’s it! I love this idea for St. Patrick’s Day! Quick, easy, and no more complaining! Mix it up and use whatever veggies and fruit you and your family like!
This pea pesto recipe is great to have in your back pocket because it can be made very quickly and with very few ingredients. I like to keep peas in my freezer for a number of different dishes, and also because they are inexpensive. They naturally have a pop of sweetness, so I like to add lemon for an acidic touch, garlic for a savory bite, and herbs for a fresh finish. Mix all of that together with salty parmesan cheese, and you are good to go. I like adding red pepper flakes for some heat as well, but it is definitely optional! Great for appetizers, a side dish, or the base for a dinner.
