Hanging Heart Strings
Are these hanging heart strings so precious!? I love adding height to my decorations and this is a really easy project that anyone can do. I simply used paper to cut out a bunch of hearts. Then, I found this pretty yarn from Michaels and simply attached it to the hearts using a glue gun. I found that all I needed was tape to hang these, but you can use tacks if you need.
Hanging Heart Strings
Yarn
paper
scissors
glue gun; you should be able to do this with regular glue as well, but it will take a lot longer to dry
Instructions
*Fold a piece of paper in half and draw the shape of half a heart on the fold
*Use the scissors to cut the hearts out
*Repeat until you have your desired amount of hearts
*Lay the hearts out onto the counter and place a drop of glue onto it; this side will be the back
*Place the yarn onto the hearts where the glue is (see pictures below)
*Allow to dry
*Hang on the wall using tape or a tack
*You can also hang these from the ceiling for a really fun look
*If you want the look of the big hearts that I have hanging I drew a heart shape onto cardboard and cut it out with an x-acto knife; painted it; then hung it with tape
