Spiderweb Napkins With Sparkly Spider Napkin Rings
As you may already know...I love Halloween! I'm not super into the bloody, creepy, scary Halloween as much as I am into the Happy Halloween. Although I love the orange and black colors together, I think there is something so chic about black and white together. So for this Halloween table, I decided to do a Chic Halloween theme!
There are so many ways to celebrate Halloween! I know there are people who do not like Halloween because it can be scary and gory, but there are a number of other themes you can use to celebrate this super fun fall holiday, and this is one of them!
For my chic black and white table, I thought that it would be really fun to add in a creative napkin. Have you heard of these Sharpie Stained Fabric Markers? They are really cool, because you can draw into fabric and they will not wash off or fade. So, I decided to use the black marker to make a spider web onto cloth napkins.
For the napkin rings, I simply had some black ribbon around, so I glued a sparkly spider that I found at Micheal's Arts and Crafts, onto the ribbon and tied it around the napkin. If you cannot find sparkly spiders, you can make your own by adding a thin layer of mod podge onto a plain spider, pour black glitter over it, allow it to dry, then cover it with another thin layer of mod podge to set the glitter!
This is a really simple DIY that you can do with friends. You can also get kids involved, and let them decorate their own napkins any way they want.
