I have always been a huge advocate of creating a home in whatever space you have. It doesn't matter if it's an apartment or a mansion as long as you put your style into it and make it comfortable it's a home. Ever since I had my son I grew this connection to where I am living because of all of the great memories that are made in this space. It will forever be the place he took his first steps and threw food all over the walls. I learned about Porch.com when I was approached by the super nice people there to be a part of the "On The Front Porch" series. "Porch.com is a home network that allows you to find the right professionals, get inspired, and manage your home….for free." For everyone out there doing housing projects or looking for inspiration for the place you live then it's definitely worth checking out. Being into my home is a new endeavor for me and I have found that I love using their website to search for ideas. They also have up to date articles on trending housing topics. If your life were a song, what would it be? I love the song Defying Gravity from the musical WICKED. This specific song inspires me to be strong, to stick to my intuitions, and to overcome any obstacles that may come my way. Plus I’m a huge theatre geek!

If your walls could only be painted one color for the rest of your life, what would they be and why? Just white… I know it’s a boring answer, but I love the idea of constantly having a blank slate to work with.

What are you exceptionally good at? (Permission to brag) Baking! I bake all of the time and it is something that consistently inspires me and makes me (and the people in my life) happy.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve collected? Ribbon… I LOVE ribbon! Anything can be made to look prettier if you put a bow on it.

What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? A healthy baby! He came into the world 6 weeks early and was in the NICU for a short amount of time. He will be 14 months around Thanksgiving and I am thankful every single day that he is healthy and happy.

What’s a home trend you hope doesn’t exist in 100 years? Ombre! It’s everywhere and it’s just not my favorite look. I know it can be really pretty, but it also reminds me of tie-dye.
