I am holiday obsessed! No matter which one it is, I try to decorate every part of my living space. My situation for decorating this holiday season is a bit challenging, because we just moved into a new house. I love that I have a new place to decorate and put up Christmas lights, but we donβt have our new furniture yet! Well, we have some furniture, but we have gotten rid of so many things. My husband and I are going to officially be adults and buy some coordinating furniture for our new place. With a 3-year-old son, a little baby on the way, and having been together for over 7 years, I think itβs about time.
Since I donβt have a lot of furniture to put decorations on this year, I am getting creative as to where I put up my dΓ©cor. My husband and I are wine-obsessed, so I figured I would use our new wine fridge as a space for decorations as well. We recently received this beautiful new wine fridge by NewAir to further our wine storage. Being pregnant, I have been loading it up with sparkling cider, but that hasnβt slowed down my husbandβs wine obsession of buying hard to find wines that need long storage. The NewAir fridge is very sleek and slim. It is only 15 inches in width, so it is great for small spaces, and it holds 29 bottlesβ¦.which we have filled up already! My husband and I like the fact that there are dual temperature zones, because I like to have my white wine colder than my red wine, I mean, donβt you?
Since my husband is a much bigger wine nerd than I am (you can follow him on Instagram @the_art_of_drinking), he likes the fact that the NewAir wine fridge also protects the wine from UV light with double-paned glass and a locking door. As most people know UV light, along with high temperatures can ruin wine. This fridge makes it easy to store both ready to drink and long-term storage wines, which is very important for those of us that care about and drink wine regularly.
Our brand new fridge was in need of some holiday love! Since I miss the snow this time of year, I thought that I would turn it into a really pretty βsnowyβ area that would make me think of the snowy white Christmases I grew up with in Michigan.
