Nothing and no one can ever prepare you for how it feels to meet your child. When I gave birth to my first son, Grant, 5 years ago he was 6 weeks early and not only were we so unprepared, but we were so scared! I had an entire NICU team in the room when I gave birth and he was in the NICU for 9 days afterward.

I am sorry to have had to take a maternity leave from my website. It pained me to do so, since this is how I share all of my projects with you all. Having a new baby, going back to work on Home and Family at 5 weeks postpartum and trying to survive the holidays, I had to attempt to manage my time.
