Rose Heart Valentine
I love getting flowers! It is one of my absolute favorite gifts to receive. Who doesn't like flowers? I thought that this would be a fun way to give your Valentine some flowers that they could keep up for awhile. Although nothing beats the real thing I think that this cute Rose Heart Valentine is a pretty way to celebrate love. Wouldn't this be fun to have at a desk to brighten someone's day? It's a really simple craft!
Rose Heart Valentine
wood plaque or box (this one is 3D with an open back); you want it to be able to stand on its own
acrylic craft paint
sandpaper (optional)
scissors
small fabric rose bunches; this one took 3 bunches; I found them at Michael's
glue gun
Instructions
*Paint the box any color you like and allow to dry
*I wanted mine to look a bit distressed so I roughed up some areas using sandpaper
*Cut each rose at the bottom so that it is flat
*Use a glue gun to attach them onto the board into a heart shape
*I did this freehand by simply placing the flowers on ahead of time to see where I wanted them to go and then glued
*Allow to dry completely before standing up
*You could paint words on here, write who it's from, "I love you," feel free to be creative!
