Welcome to my new site!!!
It’s been months in the making, and I’m so thrilled to reveal the brand new “From Scratch” site with you! Like so many businesses and blogs, my brand has evolved over the years. I started in the blogging world around 2010! As I have grown into my work, my site has grown and changed with me and it was time again to give it an update. I wanted to provide a special place for you, so I set out to build a site that would not only bring me a sense of joy and pride but would better serve this community with a place you are excited to visit can click through for a variety of needs and inspiration.
I’ve put my heart and soul into this refresh, and I hope you love it as much as I do. I wanted to create a new site to offer a better experience for YOU! This site has much better functionality and is much easier visually to search and to get creatively inspired. There are so many things to look forward to, including the ability to “shop the craft” and “shop the recipe” as well as more “style” posts. So when you’re wondering what nail polish color I’m wearing on H&F or where I found that craft paint for last week’s DIY, this space will have you covered and then some!

Something you should know about me, I don’t talk about products on my site unless it is something I actually use and love and am confident you will too! I put the products to the test! The other day, on the set of Home and Family, I end up highlighting the wrong section on my cue cards, but because of the Crayola Take Note! Erasable Highlighters I was easily able to remedy my mistake and ERASE IT! HOORAY! No more having to live with an over highlighted script, book, or whatever the item may be. If you’re like me and use a highlighter often then you know how awesome this product really is.
I have to tell you, I’m kind of a pen snob. I’m super picky about my pens and how they write. The Crayola Take Note! Washable Gel Pens are incredible because they write so smooth and clean. I was on set in the prop garage last week when I opened these and once I started using them I was hooked! I kid you not, everyone in the prop garage started using these pens when they saw how nicely the ink took to the page!
