Evaporative Cooler by Luma Comfort Review
Dealing with heat in the summer is one thing, but dealing with the heat when you are pregnant is a whole other level! I am almost 7 months pregnant and I feel like whatever temperature it is outside, I feel like I am 20 degrees hotter! We live in a place called the “South Bay,” which is a beach town just outside of Los Angeles. Most people here do not have air-conditioning, because we are so close to the ocean that we only really need it for a few months out of the year. Well, that’s all fine and great, but the past few years that we have been living here, the summers have been so hot! Enough where living without AC is completely unbearable. Add pregnancy into the picture, and it can be miserable.
I have been on a hunt for a fan, or something similar, that will help to circulate some air in the house. The issue is, what happens with that air is hot? Well, I would like to introduce you to the Luma Comfort Evaporative Air Cooler. It is a fan, of course, but what I really like about it is that fact that the air temperature can be adjusted so that it blows cooler air, which makes a huge difference! You can also adjust the strength of the air blowing, as well as a variety of air flow modes. You can play around and see what you like best.
It also works as a humidifier. All humidifiers I have tried in the past add way too much moisture in the air that I worried about it ruining my carpet and furniture. This Evaporative Cooler adds enough moisture into the air that it cools the air, but doesn’t make the air feel damp at all. So me and my pregnant belly have been posting up in whatever room the cooler is in. On the extremely hot nights, I have put the cooler in our bedroom to ease my heat issues.
