DIY Beaded Sunglass Chain
Anyone else ALWAYS lost their sunglasses?? My DIY solution is here!!
MATERIALS:
Fishing line, cording or chain
Beads
Rubber eyeglass chain ends
Lobster clasps
Crimp beads or jump rings
Jewelry pliers - x2
Wire snips
Scissors
INSTRUCTIONS:
To Create the Beaded Version:
Measure the cording or fishing line around your neck to find the right length. Cut to size.
Add the clasp to one end. Place the crimp bead onto the string, then the lobster clasp. Fold the string and bring the end back through the crimp bead. Pinch with pliers to secure in place.
Add the beads on. Use pliers if needed to help with small beads if needed.
Secure the clasp onto the other end with a crimp bead like earlier.
Clip each lobster clasp onto a rubber eyeglass chain end.
Put on your favorite accessory or glasses and enjoy!
To Create the Chain Version:
Measure the chain around your neck then cut to size with wire snips.
Twist open a jump ring with pliers then slide one end of the chain on and the hole of the lobster clasp. Twist with pliers to close.
Repeat step two on the other end of the chain.
Clip each lobster clasp onto a rubber eyeglass chain end.
Put on your favorite glasses or accessory and enjoy!
