Happy August 1st! Today is my 6 year anniversary with Los Angeles. The city I have wanted to live in my entire life. We have had our moments of love and hate, but it continues to be the city that has my heart. Los Angeles is such an interesting place. People ask me all of the time what it is like living out here and it makes me laugh because it's so different than I would have ever expected. It is very spread out and has different pockets that express the different types of people that live here. I don't know what it is like in New York, but Los Angeles is not really a walkable city... meaning you can walk around West Hollywood, but you can't really walk from the center of West Hollywood to the center of Beverly Hills... at least not in cute shoes.

I get asked all of the time what my favorite places are to eat in Los Angeles so I thought that it would be appropriate to share my favorite places from the past 6 years! Since I have spent most of my time in Santa Monica a lot of my favorites are on the westside.
