Baby Feeding Favorites
Well, my friends, we have a big time eater on our hands!! My baby is almost 7 months, and the kid loves to eat. I am shocked at the amount of food he can put away at a single meal. The past month of feeding him has been really fun. With my oldest son, Grant, I was such a nervous first-time mom, that I really didn't get to enjoy the process as much as I could have. Now, with my second baby, I am just as picky about the food as I was with my first son, but I am having a blast this time around. I also think that I am loving this time with him because there are so many great inventions around that werenβt here 4 years ago. Today, I am sharing my new favorites with you.
I am MOST excited about the actual food. Being an extremely picky eater myself, I knew that I was going to be picky about the quality of the food I wanted to give JJ. Making baby food at home is a good idea, and I can do that with things that are easy, like bananas and avocado, but when it comes to a lot of other items like apples, broccoli, and mixes, etc., then I want to leave it up to the pros, and I have discovered the BEST baby food out there right now. It is by a company called Pure Spoon and I am SO excited to share this with you. I was on a hunt for great, organic baby food, and I am so happy that I came across Pure Spoon. They use high pressure pasteurization, not high heat (which kills nutrients), to make their baby food. It is the best way to seal in all the good stuff! Which means, as busy mom, we no longer need to feel guilty about not having the time to make our baby food at home. You can order from Pure Spoon and have it delivered right to your door! Yes, please!
Head over to the Pure Spoon website and use the code MARIA25 and get 25% off any purchase of Pure Spoon $29 or more! You can build and customize your very own sampler packs, or select from fruit medleys and veggie medleys, whichever fits your needs.
Ola spoons: I am completely obsessed with these spoons. It comes in a pack of two, one for feeding and the other for the baby to hold and learn how to feed themselves. JJ loves chewing and playing with the little spoon. The tip of the spoon is nice and soft, and it scoops of the food in the bowl really easy.
Baby Bandana Bibs: How cute are these? I think the bandana look is really fun! These bibs are perfect for boys or girls. I HIGHLY recommend them as a baby shower gift, because they are super useful and something that every mom cannot have enough of.
Peg Perego High Chair: I bought my high chair 4 years ago for Grant and I am using the same one with JJ! When searching for a high chair, I really wanted one that was easy to move around, so the Peg Perego high chair was the chair that had everything I was looking for. I am attaching the link for their most updated chair, which is a bit different (and more updated) than the one I have, but I am still a fan!
